Women in Trafficking in Iran , Victims of Islamic Fundamentalism

 

film screening in Aurora Campus of Denver , Colorado, May 6, 2004

 

On Thursday May 6 th , 2004 at Aurora Campus in Denver, Colorado the documentary film "Women in Trafficking in Iran, Victims of Islamic Fundamentalism" created by a prominent Iranian film maker, Moslem Mansouri, was screened for a large audience. This program was held jointly by Women's Freedom Forum and Amnesty International of Aurora Campus. The film was provided by WFF and sponsored by Amnesty International of Aurora campus.

The film began at 7:00 PM, after the opening remarks by President of Amnesty International at Aurora Campus, Shannon Stagger.

After the film a representative of WFF, Maryam Fakhar, spoke briefly about the status of women under the rule of fundamentalists. Her speech was followed by a Q&A session.
