Iran investigating serial murder of prostitutes |

TEHRAN: Seven prostitutes have been found strangled in similar circumstances over the past few months in the holy Iranian city of Mashhad, press reports said on Saturday.
The latest victim, 42, was found Friday, a local judiciary official told the Khorassan paper, adding that six other women of "loose morals" had been found murdered the same way.
The official said a special investigation had been launched into the killings, in which the women were strangled with their headscarves and then wrapped up in their full-body cloaks. (AFP)
